This position is for a full-time Housekeeper who plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall aesthetic experience of the resort's amenities and public areas. The housekeeper ensures that all monitored spaces meet the company’s rigorous standards of cleanliness and are guest-ready throughout operational hours. This role is integral in maintaining the resort’s reputation and ensuring that guests and residents have an exceptional visit that exceeds their expectations. Housekeeping duties include cleaning and stocking restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, maintaining laundry equipment, managing various floor care activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and buffing, cleaning windows and office areas, and adhering to safety protocols by reporting any unsafe or hazardous conditions. The housekeeper also may undertake special projects as assigned, contributing to the smooth daily operational flow of the resort environment. The position requires a hardworking, reliable candidate who is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while contributing positively to a team-oriented atmosphere. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be hardworking reliable and focused on providing exceptional customer service
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
  • Knowledge of safety measures required when using various cleaning chemicals
  • Constantly stand walk and use hands
  • Lifting requirements up to 25 lbs
  • Environment conditions temperature changes
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management
  • Organization skills

Job Duties

  • Clean sanitize and properly stock resort restrooms kitchens and common areas
  • Maintain washers and dryers by cleaning all surfaces and removing lint
  • Ensure all floors are swept vacuumed mopped waxed and buffed as needed
  • Ensure all windows screens and window ledges are clean and functioning properly
  • Ensure all offices are clean and neat
  • Empty trash containers as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and precautions
  • Report unsafe or hazardous conditions incidents accidents and or defective equipment to the resort manager or maintenance supervisor
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
