We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Housekeepers to join our team in both full-time and PRN (as-needed) capacities. This position is vital in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and hospitable environment that positively affects patient experience and safety. Housekeepers at Oceans Behavioral Hospital Broussard play a critical role in infection control by diligently cleaning all hospital areas, including patient rooms, clinical departments, offices, public spaces, and specialized sterile areas. The role requires responsibility for floor care, carpet maintenance, linen management, waste disposal, and equipment upkeep, all conducted under strict adherence to safety protocols and infection prevention standards.

As a Housekeeper, you will be part of a team that supports the hospital's therapeutic environment by ensuring that cleanliness standards meet and exceed expectations. Your work directly contributes to the well-being and comfort of patients by creating surrounding spaces that feel safe and welcoming. Key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms daily, performing terminal cleaning after patient discharge or transfer, maintaining nursing stations and public areas, and actively participating in infection control practices. Additionally, you will handle linen distribution, waste disposal, and oversee the maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
