As a Housekeeper at HomeTowne Studios, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel environment for our guests. This position offers a starting wage between $18.50 and $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive pay. The role goes beyond just cleaning rooms; it involves providing exceptional guest service by welcoming guests with a friendly greeting, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring all areas meet strict cleanliness standards using appropriate chemicals and procedures in line with OSHA regulations.
The Housekeeper contributes directly to the hotel's reputation by performing tasks such as changing linens, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, communicating room status to front desk personnel, and participating in quality inspections. Additionally, the position offers opportunities for cross-training in other hotel functions such as laundry, maintenance, and front desk operations, supporting personal growth and skill development.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel cleaning or similar position
- At least 1 year experience in customer service
- Must maintain professional appearance in HomeTowne’s provided uniform
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled areas
- Ability to easily and frequently change from one task to another
- Basic English communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel cleaning or similar role preferred
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Basic English communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with friendly greeting and smile while performing all guest related services
- Remove and replace dirty linens and terry, change and make beds
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, sinks, fridge, floors etc
- Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces/areas according to OSHA regulations and HomeTowne’s requirements
- Communicate with front desk about room information, maintenance cards, lost and found items and any discrepancies between stayovers and checkouts
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Perform self-room inspections and accept feedback from room quality inspections performed by hotel management and trained team members
- Cross train in laundry, maintenance and/or front desk job functions, if possible
- Perform all other duties as assigned
