Job Description

Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC) is a renowned hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional vacation experiences for travelers from around the world. Established as part of the prestigious Hyatt Hotels Corporation, HVC specializes in vacation ownership and timeshare properties, delivering high-quality accommodations and services in destinations that inspire relaxation and adventure. Hyatt Vacation Club locations are known for their commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and creating lasting memories for guests through exceptional customer service and thoughtfully designed resort amenities. Working at HVC means being part of a supportive and friendly workplace that values diversity and fosters professional growth and personal fulfillment.

The Housekeeper role at Hyatt Vacation Club is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the resort’s villas and guest areas. This is a part-time, seasonal position offering an hourly rate of $24.15. The position requires availability for PM overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 nature of hospitality operations at a premier vacation destination. Housekeepers play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest’s stay is memorable by meticulously cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and dining rooms according to our high standards. This involves not only routine cleaning but also the replenishment of guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies, ensuring each villa is perfectly prepared for new arrivals. The role includes reporting the status of rooms, managing housekeeping carts, and adhering strictly to company policies and safety procedures.

Beyond the physical duties, Housekeepers at HVC are also key contributors to the guest experience by welcoming and greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining a friendly, inclusive environment. They collaborate closely with the housekeeping team and other resort departments to meet team goals and uphold Hyatt’s reputation for excellence. This role demands physical stamina and agility, as it requires standing, sitting, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Hyatt Vacation Club offers a comprehensive benefits package even for part-time employees, including competitive pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance options, 401(k) opportunities, travel discounts, credit union membership, tuition reimbursement, and access to professional counseling and family support services. The company encourages growth and development opportunities for employees seeking to advance within the organization. HVC is committed to being an equal opportunity employer providing a diverse and inclusive workplace where every team member’s contributions are valued.

As a Housekeeper at Hyatt Vacation Club, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality and making every guest’s vacation dreams come true.
