Job Description
Drury Hotels is a renowned hospitality company that consistently goes above and beyond to offer its guests exceptional experiences. Located at 2715 N. Glenstone in Springfield, Missouri, this property is part of a larger chain known for its commitment to quality service, comfort, and a warm atmosphere that invites both leisure and business travelers to feel right at home. Drury Hotels holds a prestigious spot among the top employers nationally, having been recognized by Newsweek as one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025. This acknowledgement reflects the company's dedication to its employees, providing an environment where team members are valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.
As a hospitality-focused organization, Drury Hotels prioritizes employee satisfaction alongside guest services, recognizing that a happy workforce translates to outstanding customer experiences. They offer a variety of employment opportunities, including full-time and part-time positions, with competitive compensation ranging from $16.36 to $18 per hour, based on experience. Benefits extend beyond simple wages, incorporating quarterly bonuses, flexible scheduling, and a genuinely supportive workplace culture where career advancement is highly encouraged through mentorship, cross-training, and management development programs.
In the role of housekeeper at Drury Hotels, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and desire to contribute to an esteemed brand that values its employees. Housekeeping staff are pivotal in delivering on the company’s promise of superior accommodations, ensuring that every guest stays in rooms that meet the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness.
Your typical day-to-day duties will involve vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and ensuring all areas are spotless and welcoming. However, the role also demands a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach to service—helping guests with amenities, responding promptly and politely to requests, and contributing to a positive work environment. The company fosters a culture where individuals are recognized not just for their tasks but for who they are, integrating a supportive and family-like team atmosphere.
Drury Hotels provides an attractive package of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, disability plans, and a team member assistance program. Additionally, the company offers a matched 401(k) retirement plan, hotel discounts, and paid time off, which supports work-life balance. With over 200 internal promotions last year alone, career growth at Drury Hotels is not only possible but encouraged and nurtured.
The housekeeping position does not require previous cleaning experience, making it an excellent entry point into the hospitality industry. The company values motivated, reliable individuals who can follow instructions, work independently, and exhibit a strong work ethic. Physical requirements include the ability to handle the demands of the job, such as walking or standing for long periods, reaching, stretching, and occasional lifting. Working weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays, may be required to meet guest needs during peak times.
Overall, joining Drury Hotels means more than just a job; it's about becoming part of a respected hospitality leader that believes in career advancement, employee well-being, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Whether you seek full-time or part-time work, Drury Hotels provides a platform to grow, shine, and work happily within a company that genuinely values you.
