Job Description

Our establishment is a welcoming hotel dedicated to providing travelers with a home away from home experience. Our Housekeeping team plays an essential role in achieving this goal by ensuring every guest room and common area is meticulously maintained to meet high standards of hygiene and presentation.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. This role is vital in helping guests enjoy a memorable and pleasant stay at our hotel. As a Housekeeper, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of cleaning and organizational tasks designed to maintain the quality and ambiance of guest rooms and bathrooms. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to outstanding service are crucial attributes for success in this position.

In this role, you will clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to ensure they meet the hotel’s exacting standards. Changing linens, making beds, and leaving bathrooms sparkling clean will be part of your routine tasks, all of which contribute directly to guest satisfaction. You will also restock essential guest room supplies such as soap and shampoo, ensuring that guests have everything they need readily available.

Organizational skills are important as you will be responsible for maintaining your linen closet and restocking your cart so that you are prepared for the next workday. The ability to work efficiently before the end of each shift is essential to maintaining smooth operations within the housekeeping department.

Interpersonal skills are also valuable in this role, as you will have the opportunity to greet guests with a friendly smile, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. While this position requires a strong work ethic and commitment to physical tasks, it also offers an opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional team dedicated to hospitality excellence.

To succeed in this role, basic English communication skills are required to understand instructions and interact politely with guests. The job involves continuous physical activity, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying weights up to 25-30 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. You must also have the stamina to stand and walk throughout your shift and be able to perform repetitive motions consistently.
