Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. This role reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and is integral to maintaining the facility's cleanliness and hygiene standards. The Housekeeper will perform routine housekeeping duties as assigned, ensuring that all areas are kept in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner. In addition, this role involves cross-training in the Laundry Department to provide backup support when necessary. The candidate must be committed to adhering to all regulations governing nursing facilities while developing a friendly and helpful rapport with the residents. Confidentiality and respect for residents' rights are paramount. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute positively to the residents' quality of life by maintaining a well-kept environment conducive to health and comfort.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping preferred
  • ability to cross train in laundry duties
  • physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks
  • willingness to adhere to nursing facility regulations
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for residents

Job Duties

  • perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
  • cross train to back up laundry department when needed

  • ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner
  • adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
  • develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
  • maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents
