Job Requirements
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to perform duties following all county, state, federal, and California Department of Public Health infection and sanitation codes and guidelines
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks daily
- Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
- Willingness to use protective equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Availability to work required hours and shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Experience performing routine, repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of infection control and sanitation standards is a plus
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or similar settings is beneficial
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in residents' rooms such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces
- Perform general housekeeping duties of common areas in the facility
- Transport clean and soiled linen to the laundry area
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
- Mix and use cleaning solutions safely and properly while adhering to all safety precautions, established standards, and quality guidelines
- Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
- Adhere to all county, state, federal, and California Department of Public Health infection and sanitation codes and guidelines
