Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- willingness to cross train into laundry duties
- ability to adhere to facility safety and infection control protocols
- dependable and punctual
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or nursing facility setting preferred
- ability to understand and follow instructions
- strong attention to detail
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- cross train to back up laundry department when needed
- perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
- adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
- develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
- maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents
