This includes maintaining the models, vacant ready units, and the public access areas which residents and potential residents utilize. The position is essential in ensuring that the property presents well in all aspects, enhancing the community's appeal and residents' satisfaction. Duties include cleaning offices, clubhouses, public areas, and apartments after move-outs to prepare them for new residents. This involves comprehensive cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, scrubbing bathrooms and kitchens, replacing broken appliance parts, and performing detailed touch-up cleaning on show units. The role also encompasses general upkeep of the grounds including the pool area, grills, and laundry rooms. The incumbent will monitor cleaning supply inventory, maintain organization in housekeeping storage, and report maintenance issues as needed. Additionally, the Property Cleaner will assist maintenance and other staff, communicate effectively with management, and uphold professional conduct at all times. This position requires adherence to safe work practices and a friendly, courteous demeanor toward colleagues and residents alike. Training opportunities are provided to help the employee grow and stay informed of best practices in property maintenance and housing regulations. Job Requirements
- High school education preferred
- At least one year of experience doing similar duties preferred
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to follow safe work practices
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies
- Willingness to wear company uniform and ID
Job Qualifications
- High school education preferred

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing and Fair Housing
Job Duties
- Cleans office, clubhouse, public access areas, and models as directed
- Cleans apartments thoroughly after move-out or make ready to prepare for new residents
- Scrubs toilets, sinks and tubs, cleans floors and cabinets inside and out
- Cleans refrigerator, appliances, behind appliances, sink, counters, cabinets, and floors
- Vacuums the entire unit
- Replaces broken or missing pieces to appliances such as drip pans and shelves
- Performs final touch-up clean on show units and those ready for new resident move-in
- Keeps model units and public access areas clean and maintains these areas
- Picks up grounds, cleans pool area, adjusts pool furniture and grills, and performs interior painting
- Cleans laundry rooms including machine tops and fronts, dryer lint traps, sweeps and mops floors, empties trash bins
- Assists with trashing out the apartment after move-out form approval
- Monitors and reports inventory of cleaning supplies and maintains adequate supplies
- Informs Property Manager to purchase supplies when needed
- Maintains housekeeping storage room neat and organized
- Reports maintenance concerns or repairs in unoccupied apartments, models, clubhouse, and common areas
- Assists maintenance staff and other staff members as needed
- Maintains open communication with Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
- Assists with clean-up at resident functions
- Wears company uniform and ID as directed
- Delivers various communications to residents as needed
- Attends and participates in training seminars as requested
- Represents the company in a professional manner
- Ensures safe work practices
- Displays a friendly and courteous attitude with other employees and maintains a good attitude
- Performs other duties as assigned
