The role being offered is for a Housekeeper within Brookdale's senior living community. This position is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the community to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for residents and visitors. Housekeepers at Brookdale are responsible for cleaning resident apartments, restrooms, and public areas using various methods such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waxing, disinfecting, and deodorizing carpets. The job requires responding promptly to resident room emergencies and maintaining logs of cleaning activities as required. Additionally, housekeepers play an important role in interaction with residents and guests, providing friendly and courteous service which aligns with the company’s commitment to community and neighborliness.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning and safety protocols
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to respond promptly to emergencies
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

Job Duties
- Clean floors, dust, remove trash, wet mop, wax and disinfect resident apartments, restrooms and public use spaces
- Vacuum, shampoo and deodorize carpets and clean surfaces throughout the community
- Respond to resident room emergencies
- Log cleaning activities as required
- Interact with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner
