Provo Rehab & Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable housekeeper to join their team on a full-time basis, with the flexibility to work any shifts, including weekends. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties, including dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping floors, cleaning mirrors, changing linens, making beds, emptying trash, and organizing. Additionally, the housekeeper will attend in-service training sessions and staff meetings as required to stay updated on best practices and facility policies. Job Duties

  • clean resident rooms including dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping floors, cleaning mirrors, changing linens, making beds, emptying trash, general straightening and organizing
  • straighten, pick-up, and organize all common areas including therapy rooms
  • attend in-service trainings and staff meetings as requested
  • perform cleaning procedures to prepare rooms for new occupancy
  • perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures in accordance with infection control policies and procedures
