The role of Housekeeper at HGV plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the company is known for. This position involves preparing assigned guest rooms and public areas for arrival, ensuring all accommodations meet the company’s established cleanliness standards. Housekeepers at HGV are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, greeting guests with friendliness and promptly responding to requests. Daily duties include cleaning assigned units, offices, and public spaces, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of cleaning carts and supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure the continuous smooth operation of the resort. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds with the ability to push or pull loads up to 100 pounds. Flexibility in availability is essential, including weekends and holidays. The position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $22.00 to $22.50 based on experience, with eligibility extended to U.S. hourly team members who are not represented by a labor organization or covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
