The role of Housekeeper at Asset Living is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the apartment community. This role involves daily cleaning of public facilities, common areas, and grounds, ensuring residents and visitors enjoy a pristine environment. The Housekeeper is also responsible for the make-ready cleaning process under the supervision of the Community Manager, preparing vacant units for new tenants in line with the property’s operational objectives. The position is full-time with a salary of $17 per hour, including a comprehensive benefits package that covers medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, as well as 401K with employer matching, paid sick days, company holidays, and the possibility of commission and performance bonuses.

The Housekeeper not only performs routine cleaning duties but also responds promptly to service requests related to common areas and units, supporting the community’s commitment to excellent resident service. The role requires adherence to Asset Living’s policies, the ability to operate property equipment economically, and a proactive approach to maintaining community standards. Physical demands include lifting up to 25 pounds, working in various weather conditions, and occasionally working overtime, weekends, or night hours when emergencies arise. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • community housekeeping
  • regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
  • responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
  • respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • responsible for understanding and following Asset key policy
  • report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
  • utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
  • perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager
  • manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
  • project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
  • ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
  • enforce policies of the community that the immediate supervisor delegates
