The Housekeeper at Ivy Park at Seven Oaks plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appeal of the community. This full-time position is essential in supporting the comfort and well-being of residents by ensuring all apartments, public areas, common spaces, and work areas are spotless and welcoming. The Housekeeper is also responsible for laundry services for both residents and the community, contributing to the smooth, daily operations of this senior living community. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • minimum age of 18 years
  • excellent customer service skills required
  • ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • pass criminal background check and health screenings including physical and TB tests
  • comply with COVID-19 vaccination and safety protocols as mandated

Job Qualifications

  • Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
  • possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees supervisors physicians healthcare professionals residents and their families
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
  • willing to vaccinate participate in daily screening surveillance testing and wear personal protective equipment per regulatory guidelines

Job Duties

  • Clean all resident apartments as directed
  • clean all public areas common areas and work areas as directed
  • complete community and resident laundry and ironing as assigned
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff residents and guests following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
