This opportunity seeks a Housekeeper to play a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the hotel’s guest rooms and common areas. The role is essential to ensuring that each room and designated area meets or exceeds brand, hotel, and guest expectations. The Housekeeper provides lateral service to support their teammates and contribute to smooth overall hotel operations and positive guest experiences. This position requires attention to detail, initiative, and a reputation for delivering excellent service consistently. Responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms to hotel standards, preparing bedding for laundry or guest use, cleaning and restocking general rooms, maintaining hallways and stairwells, and ensuring the housekeeping cart is well-stocked for daily tasks. Commitment to The Highpoint’s core values, including finding ways to overcome challenges, striving to improve daily, and embracing teamwork, is central to success in this role.
The employment opportunity offers a monthly attendance bonus, underscoring the company’s emphasis on reliability and consistency. Comprehensive benefits are available depending on hours worked, including paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a perfect attendance bonus plan, referral bonus plan, employer-matched 401(k), and discounts at worldwide hotels. This reflects The Highpoint’s dedication to supporting its employees’ well-being and career development. Candidates should be prepared to pass a pre-employment background investigation, which is a standard part of The Highpoint’s hiring protocol.
The Housekeeper position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a customer service-oriented mindset. Physical requirements include the ability to be on one’s feet for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 pounds, emphasizing the hands-on nature of this role. The Highpoint embraces equal opportunity and affirmative action employment policies, ensuring a fair hiring process for all applicants. Joining The Highpoint means becoming part of a company that not only appreciates the value of its people but also actively invests in their growth and success within the hospitality industry.
