Edencrest at Kettlestone is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and comfort for its residents. We are currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers to join our team on a part-time basis, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. As a Housekeeper, you will be at the heart of maintaining the high standards of hygiene and comfort that our community is known for. Your responsibilities will include thorough cleaning of resident apartments and common areas, such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces. You will also be responsible for dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a healthy environment. Managing laundry services with care, restocking supplies, and keeping storage areas organized will be fundamental parts of your role. Your work directly contributes to the health and satisfaction of our residents by supporting a clean, safe, and pleasant living space.
Beyond cleaning, your role supports residents’ well-being by paying attention to their schedules and preferences, thus promoting comfort and personalized care. You will also monitor the environment for any maintenance issues or potential safety hazards and promptly alert leadership to ensure swift resolution. Collaboration with care staff and other departments is key to meeting the varied needs of our residents, and your flexibility to assist during special events or seasonal deep cleans will enhance the team spirit and operational success.

Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout a full shift
- must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and use housekeeping equipment safely
- willingness to complete required training and safety certifications upon hire
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- positive attitude and excellent time management skills
Job Duties
- Clean resident apartments and common areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
- dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a healthy, pleasant environment
- manage laundry services wash, dry, and fold linens and personal clothing with care
- restock housekeeping supplies and keep storage areas neat and organized
- help maintain a clean and safe environment to reduce health risks and improve quality of life
- follow resident schedules and preferences when performing services to promote comfort and satisfaction
- alert leadership to maintenance concerns or safety hazards you notice during your rounds
- collaborate with care staff and other departments to meet resident needs
- step in to assist during special events, seasonal deep cleans, or when a teammate needs a hand
- treat residents and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times
