The Housekeeper position at Mission Rock Residential plays a critical role in maintaining the pristine condition and welcoming atmosphere of the property’s models, vacant units, and common spaces. This is a full-time, onsite role where attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness are paramount. The Housekeeper is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks including disinfecting, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, and trash removal from all property areas such as workout rooms, laundry facilities, leasing offices, elevators, clubhouses, guest suites, pools, and public restrooms. This position ensures that all areas remain orderly and hygienic, directly contributing to the overall resident experience and community appeal.
In addition to maintaining cleanliness, the Housekeeper supports the maintenance team by notifying them of any repair needs and helps the office staff with administrative tasks like posting notices for residents. The role also involves preparing complimentary services such as snacks and drinks during community events or visits and participating in company-wide training aimed at promoting fair housing compliance, safety, and non-discrimination. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and uphold the highest standards of customer service to foster a positive environment for residents and prospects alike. The expected salary range for this position is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, inclusive of base pay and applicable incentives, reflective of the candidate’s experience, skills, and knowledge. Job Duties
- Clean vacant apartments after move-outs to ensure units are in move-in condition
- Notify maintenance team of any maintenance issues requiring attention
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including disinfecting, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning windows, and trash removal in property common areas
- Ensure work areas are neat and orderly after painting or work order completions
- Order cleaning supplies as directed
- Assist office staff with posting notices on resident doors
- Communicate with supervisor regarding status of work and arising issues
- Prepare complimentary services such as snacks and drinks
- Examine buildings and grounds to maintain safety and cleanliness and alert maintenance to repair needs
- Follow safety regulations and comply with cleaning solution standards
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws
- Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience
- Participate in company-provided training on fair housing, safety, and harassment prevention
