The Housekeeper position at INSERT COMMUNITY NAME is a part-time role with shifts scheduled from Sunday through Wednesday. It offers a competitive pay range of $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the living spaces to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for residents, families, and staff. The housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common spaces, and work areas, in addition to managing laundry services for both residents and the community. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- willingness to follow COVID-19 protocols as required by company and regulatory guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience
- must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- excellent customer service skills
- strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- willingness to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of personal protective equipment
Job Duties
- Clean all resident apartments as directed
- clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed
- complete community and resident laundry and ironing as assigned
- maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards
- encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
