The role available is a full-time Housekeeper position, with a competitive hourly wage range between $17.27 and $20.72, which varies based on previous work experience. As a Housekeeper at Atria Senior Living, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the community and resident apartments. This job requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow strict sanitation and safety guidelines. The responsibilities go beyond typical housekeeping tasks, extending to assisting with resident meals by serving, taking orders, and ensuring the dining areas meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this position, you are expected to provide routine cleaning services such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning all common areas including the main entry, patios, dining room, and hallways. You will also be responsible for deep cleaning in resident apartments, which includes bed making, linen changes, mattress turning, refrigerator cleaning, and checking heating system filters. Laundry duties involve washing and drying linens in the provided laundry facilities, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked. Furthermore, you will assist with the food service by greeting residents, serving menus, delivering meals and beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas following strict food service guidelines. This role requires multitasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication in English to interact effectively with both residents and fellow employees. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including cleaning and lifting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties
  • Basic computer literacy

Job Duties

  • Provide general housekeeping for the community and resident apartments including vacuuming dusting and cleaning common areas
  • Clean and defrost refrigerators change bed linens and ensure adequate linen supplies
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks focusing on carpets plants pictures railings windows and light fixtures
  • Launder all linens using laundry facilities
  • Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
  • Greet residents and guests serve beverages cereals soups or salads from the cart
  • Take resident orders serve meals and desserts and assist with storage of perishable items
  • Bus and clear dishes from tables reset and sanitize tables and chairs
  • Complete side work such as filling sugar holders replenishing creamers and cleaning coffeemaker
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed
