In the role of Housekeeper at AAH, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our villas and guest accommodations. Your work will directly impact the quality of our guests’ stays, contributing to memorable vacation experiences. The position involves comprehensive cleaning duties, replenishing guest amenities, and ensuring that all rooms meet the high standards expected by our company. You will also be responsible for maintaining communication with supervisors and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends. Physical ability is important, as the job involves reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods. Carrying items up to 25 pounds without assistance is also part of the job. We uphold strict standards for employee conduct and safety, with compliance to all company policies and procedures. Additionally, the hiring process may require background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items that weigh up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to undergo background and drug screening as per company policy
  • Commitment to following company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact professionally with guests and colleagues

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
  • Ability to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet cleanliness standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Clean the entirety of villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms according to standards
  • Complete assigned tasks such as Rooms Board within the scheduled shift
  • Replace all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards
  • Report room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk
  • Fill the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, transport to rooms, and return to designated area at end of shift
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • report maintenance problems, safety hazards, or accidents
  • Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • Contribute to team goals
