Job Requirements
- Grade school education required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication and willingness to take direction
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, resident-centered environment
- Stand, walk, bend, and change positions frequently
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
- Push and pull carts and equipment safely
- Use hands and arms for reaching, stooping, and bending
- Follow OSHA guidelines and facility safety procedures
- Proper use of PPE when handling chemicals or equipment
- Report work-related injuries within 12 hours and complete required documentation
- Participate in company drug testing procedures

Job Duties
- Perform cleaning assignments to ensure resident rooms and common areas meet cleanliness standards
- Review work schedules and communicate with coworkers regarding daily assignments
- Advise supervisor upon completion of assigned tasks
- Conduct terminal cleaning of resident rooms in preparation for new admissions
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, offices, and shared spaces
- Report maintenance needs, repairs, or equipment malfunctions to supervisor
- Investigate and respond to housekeeping-related concerns or complaints as directed
- Inventory housekeeping supplies and notify supervisor of supply needs
- Maintain work carts and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition
- Ensure all chemicals are properly labeled in accordance with OSHA standards
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is in good condition
- Follow the Hazard Communication Program and maintain familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Attend required in-service training and departmental meetings
- Complete documentation related to assignments, reports, and timekeeping
- Collaborate with other departments to improve service and operational efficiency
