Job Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
Ability to work in upright standing position for long periods of time
Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain
Ability to walk and climb stairs
Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property and building
Ability to repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers
Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 3 ft

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Previous custodial experience preferred
Multiple language fluency is desirable
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
Informs supervisor of needed supplies
Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals
Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning
Properly utilizes new equipment and follows safety procedures
Maintains friendly and professional attitude
Maintains appropriate levels of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies to supervisor
Ensures security procedures are adhered to at all times
Follows all safety precautions while performing work
Completes daily work orders as scheduled
Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition
Cleans restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, refilling dispensers, and cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters
Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor
Performs property-specific job responsibilities as assigned
