Job Description

DMA Companies is a boutique real estate firm based in Austin, Texas, specializing in the development, consulting, and management of high-quality, mixed-income, mixed-use communities. The company focuses on affordable and special needs housing, serving communities nationwide by leveraging a variety of private, state, and federal financing options. DMA Companies operates through three distinct service lines: DMA Development Company, DMA Properties, and DMA Property Advisors, all dedicated to the development and management of affordable multifamily housing communities. This strong corporate structure enables DMA to deliver outstanding housing solutions while optimizing performance and meeting financial goals.

At DMA, the emphasis is on people – their customers, employees, and the communities they serve. The organization fosters a culture centered on exceptional customer service and a family-like atmosphere. Employees are valued not just as workers but as integral parts of the DMA family. The company supports a healthy work-life balance, offers excellent benefits, promotes professional growth through development opportunities and mentorship, and emphasizes employee appreciation and leadership advancement from within. These commitments come directly from leadership and permeate throughout all levels of the organization.

The position being offered is for a Housekeeper at an affordable luxury community in Hewitt, Texas, consisting of 113 units. This role is part-time, hourly, and operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm with an hour lunch break. As a Housekeeper, the individual will report directly to the Community Manager and play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and overall presentation of the community.

The Housekeeper will work closely with the Community Manager and maintenance staff to uphold DMA’s community standards, ensuring all common areas, vacant units, and model units meet high-quality criteria. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a dedicated customer-focused approach since the housekeeper acts as a representative of the DMA brand. Responsibilities include regular cleaning schedules, tracking and reporting inventory needs for cleaning supplies, collaborating on the maintenance and procurement of cleaning equipment, and promptly reporting any safety hazards.

This role demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and working with cleaning chemicals safely. The working environment can require exposure to both indoor and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and safety boots may be necessary for protection against chemicals and physical risks. The Housekeeper must be capable of handling multiple responsibilities efficiently and independently, all while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor towards residents and team members.

In summary, DMA Companies offers an exceptional workplace experience where employees are supported, valued, and entrusted with meaningful roles that impact vibrant communities. This Housekeeper position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about supporting affordable housing and community well-being. Through this role, the successful candidate will contribute directly to the quality and safety of a luxury mixed-income community, backed by a reputable, employee-focused company with comprehensive benefits including employer-paid medical premiums for employees, dental, vision, life insurance, personal time off, and a retirement plan with company match.
