The Housekeeper role at Fairfield Inn & Suites El Paso Airport is a vital position responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort within guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as hotel demands necessitate. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns and issues
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed
- Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Must perform physical tasks including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting housekeeping items

- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to meet business needs beyond traditional role
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming guest environment and positive workplace
- Complete pre-cleaning duties such as stocking room supplies and attending meetings
- Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift
- Perform additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and room deep cleaning as assigned
- Follow all job-related instructions and perform other duties as requested
- Adhere to safety guidelines while performing physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
