This full-time Housekeeper position at Bluff Creek Terrace Memory Care Community is an essential role aimed at maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the residents, visitors, and staff. With working hours primarily during the day, the role comes with a competitive hourly pay rate between $16.00 and $16.50. The Housekeeper will actively contribute to the smooth operation and safety standards of the community by planning and executing thorough cleaning schedules and attending to sanitation and infection control standards. This position is crucial in improving resident satisfaction and overall community experience by ensuring that all resident rooms and common areas uphold a high level of cleanliness and comfort. Additionally, the Housekeeper will play a part in preparing rooms for new residents, reporting maintenance needs, monitoring inventory, and assisting in maintaining plants and flowers within the facility.

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and follow assigned cleaning schedules
  • perform cleaning assignments in resident rooms and common areas
  • ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control standards
  • prepare resident rooms for new move-ins following discharge
  • report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor
  • monitor housekeeping inventory and communicate supply needs
  • assist with plant and flower care as assigned
  • safely handle cleaning chemicals and ensure proper labeling per OSHA standards
  • maintain work carts and equipment in a clean and safe condition
  • attend required in-service training and staff meetings
  • collaborate with other departments to support smooth daily operations
