Drury Hotels is currently seeking full-time and part-time housekeepers to join their team immediately. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction the brand is known for. Starting at $17.50 per hour, with potential earnings up to $25.16 based on experience, skills, and education, this position also offers quarterly incentives up to $3200 per year tied to hotel results. Housekeepers play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for guests by ensuring rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. The job involves responsibilities such as vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, inspecting rooms for maintenance needs, and assisting guests with amenities and requests. Job Requirements

  • Completion of 2 years of high school education
  • no prior cleaning experience necessary
  • ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift
  • capability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work activities
  • ability to lift 25-35 pounds intermittently during shift
  • willingness to work weekends including Saturdays and Sundays
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with all hotel departments
  • report to Executive Housekeeper or Assistant General Manager

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • no previous cleaning experience required
  • ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions
  • strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
  • positive and proactive attitude
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members
  • ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests
  • perform various hotel cleaning services to maintain rooms according to set standards
  • inspect rooms visually to identify maintenance needs
  • assist guests with linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request
  • provide friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude
  • help maintain a positive work atmosphere for all team members and guests
