We are currently seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. This is a vital role that directly contributes to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the property. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning apartments, common areas, and amenities inside the community, including public restrooms, resident units, laundry facilities, and exterior areas as needed. The position typically involves daily tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows, changing linens, and managing laundry duties using provided appliances. Additionally, the Housekeeper will be tasked with maintaining storage and utility areas, restocking cleaning supplies, emptying wastebaskets, and reporting any maintenance issues or resident concerns to supervisors promptly.
This role requires a highly organized individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills in English are essential to effectively interact with residents and fellow employees. The Housekeeper must be capable of operating cleaning equipment such as irons, washers, dryers, brooms, mops, and vacuums, and have a general understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices to meet health and safety standards. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time well are critical qualities needed to succeed in this role.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to operate cleaning equipment
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to follow safety protocols
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods

Job Duties
- Clean public areas and resident’s apartments including bathrooms kitchens patios and windows floors furniture and common areas
- perform all housekeeping duties including distributing laundered articles and linens
- changing beds
- cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
- sweeping scrubbing waxing and polishing floors cleaning rugs carpets upholstered furniture and draperies
- dusting furniture and equipment
- polishing metalwork
- washing walls woodwork windows door panels and sills
- perform all laundry duties including washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances
- folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately
- distributing laundered articles and linens
- changing bed linens
- maintain resident laundry areas including mopping floors washing walls and checking lint traps regularly
- wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested
- keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition
- disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies
- stock the cleaning cart with supplies
- empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s)
- work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean
- request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed
- report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly
- report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to supervisor
- may perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
