Job Requirements

  • housekeeping experience in health care or commercial setting preferred
  • current and valid 2 step tb clearance and health review can be done in-house

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or commercial settings preferred
  • knowledge of infection control practices
  • ability to follow instructions and maintain cleaning schedules
  • good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks
  • strong attention to detail and reliability
  • effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • ensure a clean orderly and safe place for guests and residents to live and staff to work throughout the facility
  • follow infection control standards when collecting dirty linen and handling resident laundry
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all assigned areas
  • properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials
  • report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
  • collaborate with team members to meet cleanliness and hygiene goals
  • support a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff
