Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
Ability to handle physical workload involving standing, bending, and lifting
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
Flexibility for shift work including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality settings or similar environments
Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing
Prior hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Strong understanding of custodial practices and industrial cleaning procedures
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as required

Job Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure they are spotless and safe
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow established safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to promote a safe environment
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or areas needing special attention and report them promptly
Adhere to all health and sanitation standards in line with hospitality industry regulations
Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
