This position involves janitorial responsibilities within ASM Global’s managed facilities, where maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization are critical to the overall venue experience. The role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of events and day-to-day facility management by ensuring that all interior areas, including public and non-public spaces, restrooms, service hallways, and equipment, are kept in impeccable condition. The janitorial team member will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, carpet cleaning, window washing, and waxing, as needed. In addition to cleaning floors and surfaces, the role includes managing cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.

The candidate must exhibit reliability and punctuality by reporting to work on time and following the attire requirements, including wearing identification badges. Flexibility is key in this role, as event-related schedules may demand accommodating variable working hours. The janitorial staff will contribute to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, which is imperative for customer safety and compliance with health regulations.

Working independently and demonstrating initiative are important traits for success in this position. The individual must be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and others they encounter throughout their duties. Communication skills, both oral and written, are also essential to adhere to instructions and report effectively.

Physical stamina and strength are necessary for this role, as the duties include standing for long periods, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to perform extended manual tasks throughout the facility.
