Job Description

Century Park Associates is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing an enriching and supportive lifestyle for its residents. Known for its commitment to excellence, respect, and outstanding service, Century Park Associates fosters a workplace culture rooted in trust, leadership, and personal ethics. This reputed establishment prioritizes a 'people come first' philosophy, ensuring that every team member embodies integrity and professionalism in their day-to-day responsibilities. The company strongly supports its residents' ability to continue growing, learning, and contributing to the community, making the environment not only safe but inspiring. With a focus on personalized care and hospitality, Century Park Associates creates a family-like atmosphere where both residents and employees feel valued and respected. The company offers a rewarding work environment where associates are encouraged to exceed expectations and go beyond their job descriptions to achieve exceptional resident satisfaction and personal growth.

The Housekeeper position at Century Park Associates plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the community. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, the Housekeeper is responsible for delivering services with a hospitality focus that align with all applicable laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in ensuring a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for seniors and who possess patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition. A typical workday involves cleaning various areas within the community, including occupied and vacant units, common areas, offices, lounges, dining areas, laundry rooms, and restrooms. The Housekeeper uses proper cleaning products and techniques to vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, scrub, sanitize, and polish surfaces to maintain hygiene and aesthetics.

Beyond cleaning duties, the Housekeeper is responsible for stocking cleaning carts, notifying the supervisor of supply needs, and properly storing equipment and tools. Effective communication with supervisors is essential, especially concerning any repairs, bulb replacements, maintenance needs, resident behaviors, or complaints. The ideal candidate must exhibit the ability to work independently, make informed decisions when needed, and maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors. Respecting confidentiality and adhering to the company’s Code of Ethics and compliance training demonstrates the high standards expected of all staff members. Overall, this role is more than just housekeeping — it’s about contributing to the quality of life of residents, ensuring a respectful and secure living space in a senior community setting. Century Park Associates values team members who bring enthusiasm and dedication to their responsibilities and who understand the importance of going the extra mile to serve their residents with kindness and professionalism.
