One of the properties under Pyramid Global Hospitality management is the Candlewood Suites Hotel, owned by Michigan State University. This 128-suite hotel is strategically located next to MSU’s state-of-the-art 96,000-square-foot Executive Education Center and overlooks the university-owned 18-hole championship golf course. The housekeeping team at Candlewood Suites plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, which directly influences guest satisfaction and loyalty. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
  • keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
  • proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities
  • thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
  • daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the standards set forth in the Green Program
  • practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards and properly reporting as found
  • respect for guests' property should always be exercised
  • responsible care of equipment
  • reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, to maintain accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms
  • remain alert, courteous, and helpful to the guests and co-workers always
  • perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor
