The facility serves individuals with various health needs, including post-surgery recovery, chronic illness management, and long-term care. With a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, the center recognizes the vital role that cleanliness and upkeep play in promoting health and well-being among residents and staff alike.
The role of Housekeeping Staff at Whitney Nursing and Rehab Center is crucial in upholding these high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Housekeepers must also handle floor care duties such as dust-mopping, wet-mopping, stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors when necessary, ensuring surfaces are sanitary and visually appealing.
Additionally, the Housekeeper is tasked with the proper management of waste disposal, including emptying trash containers, replacing liners, and disposing of refuse in designated receptacles. Beyond physical cleaning duties, the Housekeeping Staff are also expected to observe and promote the Residents' Rights policies, ensuring respect for the dignity and privacy of all residents. This is integral to creating a safe and caring environment where residents feel valued and secure.
Whitney Nursing and Rehab Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to adhering to all federal employment laws, including notifying applicants of their rights as stipulated by the Department of Labor. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering meticulous cleaning services and who appreciate the importance of their contribution to a healthcare setting.
