Job Description

Sagora Senior Living Inc. is a well-established provider of senior living services, known for its commitment to creating warm, welcoming, and supportive communities tailored to the unique needs of older adults. The company operates a variety of senior living communities that include independent living, assisted living, and specialized memory care facilities. Sagora is celebrated not only for its dedication to putting residents first but also for its strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and excellence in every aspect of its operations. The company fosters a culture where employees are empowered to grow professionally and personally, reflecting its core values of Commitment, Empowerment, Communication, Excellence, and Teamwork. Sagora takes pride in maintaining a workplace environment that has earned certification as a Great Place to Work, based on comprehensive team member surveys. This highlights the company’s positive employee engagement and supportive atmosphere, which are pivotal to its success in delivering high-quality care and service.

The Housekeeper role at Sagora Senior Living, specifically within the Ellery Arbor Memory Care community located in Colleyville, TX, is a key position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation that ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, their families, and staff. The role is full-time with day shifts and offers a starting pay of $14.00 per hour, providing a competitive wage within the senior living care industry. As a Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with a variety of cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing kitchen and bath fixtures, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, and emptying trash receptacles. Additionally, you will handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and storing linens for the community and residents, while also coordinating the delivery and return of resident laundry. Your duties will extend to other communal areas such as offices and bathrooms, ensuring these spaces remain hygienic and orderly.

This position demands a compassionate personality, team orientation, and a quality-centered approach as you contribute significantly to the overall well-being and comfort of the community members. Sagora Senior Living emphasizes upward mobility and professional growth, encouraging team members to build lasting careers within their communities. Working here means you will be part of a dedicated team that values respect and meaningful relationships with residents—individuals carrying a wealth of wisdom and life experience. Sagora’s name itself symbolizes this philosophy, merging the words "Sage" and "Agora" to represent a gathering place of wisdom.

In addition to meaningful work, the company offers a robust benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, tuition assistance aligned with career development, paid time off, holiday pay, as well as unique perks like company-paid telemedicine, on-demand pay advances, and team member support programs. If you are motivated to deliver outstanding service and build genuine connections in a senior living environment, Sagora Senior Living invites you to apply for the Housekeeper position and join their caring and empowered team.
