The Housekeeper role at Asset Living is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the apartment communities managed by the company. This position is responsible for ensuring that public facilities, common areas, grounds, and vacant units are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. The Housekeeper supports the operational objectives of each property under the supervision of the Community Manager, playing a key role in preparing units for move-in and maintaining a welcoming environment throughout the community. Attention to detail, reliability, and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position. The Housekeeper also responds promptly to resident and management requests, completes work orders related to cleaning and upkeep, and adheres to company policies and community rules. The role offers an hourly rate ranging from $12 to $15, reflective of the individual’s experience and skill set. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
- Basic computer skills required
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed
- Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work in various physical conditions including confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and outdoor environments
Job Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions

Job Duties
- Community housekeeping
- Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
- Responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
- Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
- Responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
- Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
- Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
