The Housekeeper role at Benedictine Living is fundamentally important to the facility’s operation. This position is a full-time employment opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $18.24. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including resident and patient rooms, public restrooms, resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas. This role requires strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines to safeguard the health of residents and staff alike. The Housekeeper must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing various cleaning tasks efficiently.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in preparing resident rooms after discharges to ensure they are clean and ready for the next admission. You will also be responsible for ensuring that supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are fully stocked in all relevant areas. Additionally, you will operate and maintain an array of housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, housekeeping carts, and carpet cleaning machines. This role not only demands physical stamina and a strong work ethic but also an understanding of the importance of creating a hygienic environment that enhances the overall experience of residents and visitors.
