Drury Hotels operates with a customer-first approach, aiming to create memorable experiences for both business travelers and vacationing families through superior service and cleanliness, which helps them maintain a competitive edge in the hospitality industry.

The position available is for a Housekeeper, an integral role responsible for maintaining the high cleanliness and comfort standards across guest rooms and common areas. This role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, providing flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance. Compensation is competitive for the role, including quarterly bonuses up to $3200 annually based on the hotel's overall performance, reflecting the company's philosophy of succeeding together as a team. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, hotel discounts, and free room nights, all designed to enhance employee well-being and satisfaction.

This role does not require previous cleaning experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to enter the hospitality industry or those looking for a supportive and rewarding working environment. Basic educational requirements include the equivalent of two years of high school education, coupled with an ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. The physical nature of the position requires stamina, including the ability to be on one’s feet for the entire shift and perform tasks such as vacuuming, reaching, bending, and lifting moderate weights. Drury Hotels emphasizes a positive and cooperative workplace where team members support one another while delivering outstanding service to guests. Working weekends might be required, as these are typically the hotel’s busiest days.

Overall, this housekeeping role at Drury Hotels in Lafayette, Indiana offers a comprehensive package suitable for individuals who appreciate a respectful and growth-oriented work atmosphere in the hospitality sector.
