Job Description
Regency Integrated Health Services is a respected organization specializing in providing quality healthcare and supportive services within community-based residential settings. As a company committed to excellence in care and customer service, Regency focuses on fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents and staff. Operating within the health services sector, Regency combines compassionate care with professional facility management to maintain high standards in cleanliness and safety across all of its facilities. This ensures the comfort and well-being of those who live and work within its communities.
The Housekeeper role at Regency Integrated Health Services is a crucial position responsible for maintaining the sanitation and overall appearance of the building areas. This position involves executing a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties that help preserve an orderly, attractive, and hygienic environment under the guidance and supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. The primary goal of the Housekeeper is to support a positive and healthy living environment for residents by ensuring that all indoor spaces are clean and well-maintained.
In this role, the Housekeeper will be entrusted with tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, washing, and shampooing floors to keep all floor surfaces immaculate. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and dusting furniture, closets, telephone areas, and vents, as well as thoroughly scouring and sanitizing sinks, counters, stainless steel surfaces, and waste receptacles. The Housekeeper will also be in charge of emptying waste bins, cleaning solid waste containers, and transporting medical waste to designated storage areas while adhering to all safety protocols. The use of room deodorizers and ensuring an ample supply of paper products are part of daily duties, underscoring the importance of a clean and fresh environment. Moreover, this role involves washing walls and windows, sometimes requiring the removal and handling of draperies and rugs as necessary.
This position requires adherence to occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) standards for managing infectious waste, emphasizing the company’s commitment to maintaining health and safety compliance. The Housekeeper will also gather and return all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to support the upkeep of rooms, enabling efficient and organized operations.
Regency Integrated Health Services offers an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and equal opportunity. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability status, national origin, veteran status, or any other protected classification. This ensures a respectful and fair working environment where every team member is treated with dignity and has the opportunity to contribute to the success of the organization. This role as a Housekeeper is ideal for individuals seeking stable employment within a growing healthcare services organization, looking to make a positive impact in community-based care settings.
