Job Description

Regency Integrated Health Services is a distinguished healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional care and support within its various facilities. Known for fostering a compassionate and inclusive environment, Regency Integrated Health Services is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and comfort of its residents through high-quality services and a professional team focused on maintaining the facility's cleanliness and safety. This organization values diversity and equal opportunity, making it a welcoming workplace for individuals from all backgrounds. Employment with Regency Integrated Health Services offers the chance to be part of an organization that prioritizes ethical standards, excellent service, and a positive work atmosphere, where every team member contributes to enhancing residents' quality of life.

The role of Housekeeper at Regency Integrated Health Services is pivotal in maintaining the facility's sanitary and orderly condition. This position involves performing a wide range of cleaning and housekeeping duties under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor to ensure that all areas, including common spaces and resident rooms, are kept neat, hygienic, and welcoming. The Housekeeper is responsible for sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, washing, and shampooing floor surfaces, alongside cleaning and dusting furniture, closets, telephone areas, and vents. They are also tasked with sanitizing sinks, counters, stainless steel surfaces, and waste receptacles, as well as emptying and properly disposing of waste, including medical waste, following OSHA standards for infectious waste handling.

In addition to the cleaning duties, the Housekeeper plays a crucial role in supporting a positive environment for the residents by ensuring that spaces are odor-free through the use of room deodorizers and that paper supplies are consistently stocked. This role may also involve more detailed cleaning activities such as washing windows and walls and occasionally removing draperies and rugs as directed. The Housekeeper's commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail significantly contributes to the overall function and atmosphere of the facility, helping to uphold Regent Integrated Health Services' reputation as a safe and comfortable place for residents.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are conscientious, dependable, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Experience as a housekeeper or janitor is preferred but not mandatory, making this a great entry point for candidates looking to build a career in facility maintenance or healthcare support services. Regency Integrated Health Services offers an equitable work environment where all employment decisions are made without discrimination, aligning with their commitment to diversity and inclusion. If you possess a strong work ethic, pay attention to detail, and are motivated to contribute to a supportive residential healthcare setting, the Housekeeper position at Regency Integrated Health Services could be a perfect fit.
