We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Onslow House. This full-time position is critical to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facility, which greatly contributes to the quality of life experienced by our residents. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties that support a hygienic, orderly, and comfortable environment.   • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming dusting sanitizing and mopping common areas resident rooms and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • assist with washing folding and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed
  • dispose of trash and recycling materials properly ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized
  • assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues
  • follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean hygienic and safe environment for residents and staff
  • work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable
  • engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
