The role of Housekeeper at Asset Living is crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the apartment communities it manages. This position is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds, ensuring that residents and visitors experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Housekeeper’s duties include general cleaning tasks such as trash removal, preparing vacant units for move-in, and maintaining the appearance of offices and amenities on the property. This role requires a dependable and consistent onsite presence, as daily attendance is mandatory to meet operational standards. The Housekeeper works closely under the supervision of the Community Manager to prepare units according to the property’s standards and respond promptly to resident and management requests concerning cleanliness and maintenance of common areas and residential spaces.
In addition to cleaning responsibilities, the Housekeeper plays a key role in customer service by fostering positive interactions with residents and maintaining a professional and approachable image of the community. This includes managing service requests efficiently, enforcing community policies as delegated by supervisors, and reporting any violations observed to maintain a safe and respectful living environment. Proficiency with onsite software is required to document activities and requests accurately. Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is essential to perform this job responsibly and compliantly.
Physically, the Housekeeper must be capable of performing tasks that involve lifting up to 25 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in various environments including confined spaces and outdoor conditions. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night hours when necessary is expected. Asset Living offers a competitive hourly salary ranging from $15.00 to $19.50, reflective of skills, experience, and certifications, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accident, and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, paid sick days, company holidays, and performance bonuses where applicable.
