Bocage Racquet Club is a prestigious recreational facility known for its dedication to providing excellent amenities and services to its members. Currently, Bocage Racquet Club is seeking to immediately hire a part-time Housekeeping Attendant. The ideal candidate will work shifts from 1pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday, and be available to work some weekends and holidays. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the Clubhouse and surrounding facilities. The Housekeeping Attendant will engage in a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties that ensure the environment remains sanitary, organized, and inviting to all members. Responsibilities include dusting furniture, cleaning restrooms and locker rooms, vacuuming and mopping floors, and attending to outdoor areas such as patios and furniture. The incumbent will also be responsible for polishing surfaces, washing windows, shampooing carpets, and deep-cleaning projects as required.
A key component of the role involves reporting any maintenance issues such as damaged fixtures, burned-out light bulbs, or plumbing problems to the Housekeeping Manager, ensuring timely resolution and preventing disruptions to the club’s operations. The position requires physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform various manual tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing. Candidates must demonstrate good judgment when handling chemicals and cleaning supplies and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. With a positive can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, the Housekeeping Attendant plays an essential role in upholding the club’s standards of excellence. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred

Job Duties
- Work as directed to support the mission and values of the Bocage Racquet Club
- dust furniture, light fixtures, pictures and other items as needed
- clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including showers
- restock restroom supplies
- vacuum and mop floors throughout the club including dining areas
- sweep patio area and remove dust from patio furniture
- empty all trashcans throughout the club
- clean and polish brass as needed
- wash windows and shampoo carpet
- report any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the Housekeeping manager
- polish glass, table surfaces, counters and door handles
- conduct deep-cleaning projects as needed
- transport towels to and from the laundry room, washing and folding
- complete other appropriate assignments made by the Housekeeping Manager
