Job Description

The Housekeeper role is pivotal in maintaining the impeccable standards of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are always clean, hygienic, and presentable. This includes tasks such as changing bed linens, cleaning carpets and rugs, replenishing toiletries, sanitizing washrooms, and keeping corridors spotless. The role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple cleaning tasks without compromising quality. By maintaining a neat and organized environment, the Housekeeper helps to create a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere for our guests, contributing directly to their satisfaction and positive feedback.

The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact courteously with guests and handle any queries or complaints with professionalism. They will also be entrusted with managing inventory, including cleaning agents and supplies, ensuring that nothing runs out and that all materials are stored safely. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial to this position, as is strong time management and problem-solving capabilities. Job Duties

  • Cleaning equipment, mopping the floor and polishing the furniture
  • changing the bed linen and other necessary supplies such as towels, shampoos, etc
  • dusting and sweeping the chandeliers and other furniture items
  • restocking the consumables according to requirements
  • maintaining, cleaning and sanitizing the environment in the hotel
  • ensuring that the laundry is done properly and handed over to the respective guest on time
  • ensuring that the cleaning agents are stored safely
  • handling customer complaints and queries professionally
  • providing good customer service to the guests
  • determining the inventory of cleaning agents and supplies and making sure they are delivered before getting out of stock
