Job Description
Touchmark on West Prospect is Appleton's leading full-service senior living community, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to its residents. Founded on the core values represented by the acronym ETHIC - Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion - Touchmark is steadfastly committed to enriching the daily lives of its residents. This vibrant community provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where residents can thrive with dignity and comfort. The team at Touchmark operates with a mission to embody these principles in every interaction, whether it involves personal caregiving or maintaining the grounds.
Touchmark’s commitment to quality is reflected in its employment approach, offering meaningful roles that impact the lives of older adults every day. The community is seeking to hire dedicated, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeepers who will play an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the entire property. This position is non-exempt, making it eligible for overtime pay, and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $16.00 and $17.20. The role operates on a full-time schedule with weekend rotations, providing consistent hours for team members.
The full-time housekeeper role at Touchmark is more than a cleaning position—it is a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of the senior residents. Housekeepers are entrusted with ensuring resident apartments, common spaces, and guest rooms remain pristine and inviting. Utilizing Touchmark Gold Standards for cleanliness and safety, housekeepers help uphold a healthy environment that prioritizes infection control and resident comfort. This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and views their role as vital to the community’s overall well-being.
In addition to regular cleaning duties, housekeepers are expected to identify and report maintenance issues such as damaged flooring or faulty lighting to ensure the safety of all community members. The housekeepers may work independently or as part of a team, providing friendly and respectful service that fosters an inclusive environment. The role offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and coworkers, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented workplace culture.
Touchmark encourages applicants who share its values of compassion and integrity and those who are willing to contribute to a workplace that prioritizes safety, empathy, and high-quality service. This position is suitable for individuals who can work around pets and adapt to a dynamic, active environment. Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not mandatory, as training will be provided. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, aligning with the community's standards of professionalism.
By joining Touchmark, housekeepers become part of a respected community that values employee well-being as much as resident care. Employees who work 30 or more hours per week benefit from a comprehensive package including paid time off, health care options, education assistance, and flexible spending accounts. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous growth, Touchmark offers a career path that supports both personal and professional development. If you are seeking a rewarding role in senior living where your work has a direct, positive impact, Touchmark on West Prospect invites you to become part of their dedicated team.
