American Cruise Lines is the largest U.S. cruise company, renowned for offering unique travel experiences along America's rivers and coasts. With a legacy of delivering distinctive and memorable journeys on the finest American ships, American Cruise Lines prides itself on showcasing the beauty and history of the United States through its premium small ship cruises. The company operates over 50 itineraries spanning more than 35 states, providing travelers the chance to explore the country’s diverse landscapes and cultural landmarks in comfort and style. Established with a commitment to exceptional hospitality and service, American Cruise Lines values optimism, commitment, patriotism, and merit. These core values shape the company’s culture, influence its operations, and guide every member of the team as they share America’s story with guests from around the world. As an employer, American Cruise Lines is dedicated to equitable and inclusive employment practices, fostering a supportive work environment for all employees regardless of background or identity.

The Housekeeper position is a critical role within the company’s shipboard hotel operations, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of guest accommodations and onboard facilities during the 2026 cruise season. This is a temporary, full-time role lasting up to 28 weeks, designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced hospitality environments and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Wages for this position range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, with additional bonuses and major living expenses such as travel, room and board, uniforms, and training covered by the company, enabling employees to save a significant portion of their earnings. This role offers a unique opportunity for those interested in building a career in hospitality, particularly within the cruise industry, as it provides valuable onboard experience and fosters strong connections among crew and guests. Due to the nature of cruise operations, housekeepers must be adaptable, physically capable, and able to maintain composure under pressure in an environment affected by constant ship motions. The work schedule involves seven days a week while onboard, requiring stamina and dedication to meet the standards of America’s Leading Small Ship Cruise Line.
