The role of Housekeeper at Asset Living is a pivotal position within their apartment community management team. The Housekeeper is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the community's public facilities, common areas, grounds, as well as ensuring vacant units are cleaned and prepared to meet move-in standards. Reporting directly to the Community Manager, this role requires a hands-on approach to property upkeep, day-to-day cleaning operations, and swift responsiveness to resident requests and management directives. The Housekeeper contributes directly to the overall resident experience by ensuring the environment is welcoming and maintained to high standards. The job necessitates regular and reliable onsite attendance as well as a strong commitment to following community policies and safety regulations. With a focus on excellent customer service, the Housekeeper will manage service requests and foster positive relationships with residents and colleagues alike. This position has a clearly defined salary range of $15 to $16 per hour, reflecting Asset Living's commitment to fair and competitive compensation. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in the housing industry preferred
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and night hours if necessary
  • Must report any community policy violations
  • Regular on-site attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Job Duties

  • Community housekeeping
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • Responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
  • Responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
  • Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
