Job Description

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village is a premier, full-service retirement community located at 19800 SW Touchmark Way in Central Oregon. Recognized as an award-winning community, Touchmark is dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents and their families by delivering five-star hospitality, comprehensive services, and top-tier amenities. The community prides itself on creating a warm, welcoming environment that fosters a sense of belonging and promotes a high quality of life. Residents enjoy a vibrant lifestyle supported by attentive staff members who prioritize their comfort, health, and happiness in every aspect of daily living.

Touchmark is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, dependent upon experience. Additionally, the role is eligible for employee benefits. Unlike typical housekeeping roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with the residents who call Touchmark home. Housekeepers play a crucial role in maintaining an exceptionally clean, healthy, and pleasant atmosphere, ensuring that both the residents' private homes and the community's common areas consistently meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

The ideal candidate will embody Touchmark’s core values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion. They will model these values daily, inspiring colleagues and promoting a culture of friendship, support, and generosity. While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, prior experience in housekeeping within a resort or retirement community is preferred but not essential. The role requires occasional flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or fill in as needed. Effective communication skills are vital, as the position necessitates the ability to read, write, and speak English well. Equally important is the housekeeper's ability to maintain patience, tact, and composure when interacting with residents, their families, staff members, and visitors. Reliable and consistent attendance is essential to uphold the community’s operational standards.

Touchmark understands that providing exceptional service to residents starts with taking care of the employees. Therefore, the Housekeeper position comes with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support overall well-being both professionally and personally. This holistic approach to employee rewards not only enhances job satisfaction but also fosters a positive work environment where team members feel valued and appreciated.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals committed to safety, compassion, and empathy, and those who want to make a difference by leading through example. Join Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village and contribute to a community that is truly a place to enjoy life and build lasting connections. Explore the difference that dedicated hospitality and compassionate service make in a retirement community that feels like home. If you align with our values and are enthusiastic about providing superior care and attention, we welcome your application to become part of our growing, supportive team.
