The Housekeeper role at Fountaingrove Lodge is a critical position dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, their families, and staff. Working Monday through Friday during the morning shift, the housekeeper is responsible for thorough cleaning of resident apartments, public and common areas, and workspaces. Additionally, the housekeeper handles laundry services for both the residents and the community. The role requires a friendly and courteous approach, aligning with the company’s mission and values to enhance the quality of life of the seniors residing in the community. Paying close attention to detail and safety to uphold established standards is essential in this role. This is a full-time role with a competitive pay range of $18.25 to $19.25 per hour.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • pass a criminal background check
  • pass health screening tests including physical and TB tests
  • comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, screening, and use of personal protective equipment according to regulatory guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
  • possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • willing to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, screening, and use of personal protective equipment according to regulatory guidelines

Job Duties

  • Clean all resident apartments, as directed
  • clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed
  • complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
