The Housekeeper role at Asset Living is a crucial position tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of apartment community properties to ensure a welcoming and well-kept environment for residents and visitors. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20 to $24, dependent on qualifications and experience, and encompasses a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays. The Housekeeper is responsible for routine cleaning of public facilities, common areas, grounds, and ensuring vacant units are thoroughly cleaned and ready for new occupants under the supervision of the Community Manager. This role demands consistent onsite attendance and proactive engagement with resident requests and management work orders. Key duties include general housekeeping, trash removal, upkeep of community offices and amenities, and adherence to Asset Living’s policies and Fair Housing and OSHA standards. Physical requirements include the ability to handle tasks that may involve lifting up to 25 pounds, working in various environmental conditions, operating machinery, and performing tasks that require flexibility and mobility across different community areas. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions

Job Duties

  • Community housekeeping
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • Responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
  • Responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
  • Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • Responsible for understanding and following Asset key policy
  • Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
  • Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
  • Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
  • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
  • Enforce policies of the community that the immediate supervisor delegates
